The making of a boy's room

Most of my son's room was already done, but since we moved into our own house I decided to paint the walls, so the room got a tweak. I love the result! I am in love with the wall color, and all the bright accents. I'm not completely finished, but I will get there eventually. I will post updated pictures as I finish it off! 

I got the bookshelf for $2 at a thrift store on the half off sale day they were having. What a steal! I got the rug from Ross for $18 and the curtains I got on sale at Target. 

I got the wall decal from Target. My son has always loved the universe, and so I thought this would be perfect. I have to tweak his bedding still, and I cut off his headboard to make it a daybed.
